The D104*Q Series isolates Safe Area contacts or logic levels enabling drive signals to control a device in Hazardous Location. Typical application is to drive Solenoid Valves, Signaling LED and Visual or Audible Alarms. The unit can also be used as a controlled supply to power measuring or process equipments in Hazardous Location. Four per module independent outputs can be paralleled when more power is required. D1040Q, according IEC 61508 & IEC 61511, is suitable for applications up to safety integrity level SIL 3 .
SIL 3 is achieved when model is used in Loop Powered mode; SIL 2 when Bus Powered.
